    About this event

    September 20, 2024_ 11:00-12:30 PT

Students and Educators! Join us for the NASA TechRise Virtual Field Trip on September 20th - from 11:00-12:30 PT! This FREE event is designed to inspire sixth—to 12th-grade students about space exploration and to encourage them to enter the NASA TechRise Student Challenge. The event will include a special NASA welcome and presentation by NASA Astronaut Jessica Watkins. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in live Q&A. Additionally, participants will learn about this year's exciting NASA TechRise Student Challenge and how to participate in a Free classroom coding event!

Thinking about student privacy? We like the way you think! Registration is required. Students will NOT go on camera or share audio and there will NOT be a public chat. However, the field trip will be interactive! Students will be able to submit questions directly to speakers/hosts, so come prepared with questions. Your students' questions may be answered live on the virtual stage! All attendees must RSVP to attend. Already have a Future Engineers account? Click login to RSVP. New to Future Engineers? Click login to RSVP above and then “Create a New Account” to register and RSVP.

Wondering if you can attend if you're not 6th - 12th grade? While this field trip is meant for students eligible for the NASA TechRise Student challenge, anyone with a Future Engineers account may RSVP and join.
